Our Services

We offer individual therapy, family therapy and occupational therapy for individuals and families.

Individual Therapy

We lead with compassion, we don’t cast judgment, and we focus on developing strategies that address the unique circumstances of the individuals and families we serve.

Family Therapy

Family therapy brings family members together to improve communication, understanding, and connection. It’s a supportive space to talk through challenges, work through conflict, and strengthen relationships — with a trained therapist helping guide the conversation.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need for everyday life — like playing, learning, self-care, and managing emotions — so they can feel more confident and successful at home, school, and in their community.

Is therapy a good option for my child?

Therapy provides children with a safe, supportive, and age-appropriate space to explore their feelings, experiences, and relationships. Through play, conversation, and creative activities, children learn how to express emotions, build coping skills, and better understand their thoughts and behaviors.

Therapy can help children manage challenges such as anxiety, big emotions, behavior concerns, trauma, life changes, or difficulties at home or school. As children begin to recognize patterns in their feelings and reactions, they can learn healthier ways to cope, communicate, and problem-solve.

With guidance and support, children develop skills for emotional regulation, confidence, and positive decision-making, leading to improved behavior, stronger relationships, and greater emotional well-being over time.

I’m a young adult. Is therapy a good fit for me?

Therapy offers young adults a supportive, confidential space to better understand their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. It can help with managing stress, anxiety, depression, past experiences, and the challenges that often come with major life transitions.

Many young adults seek therapy to build confidence, improve communication, clarify goals, and break patterns that no longer serve them. Through increased self-awareness and skill-building, therapy supports healthier coping, emotional regulation, and decision-making, leading to stronger relationships, improved well-being, and a greater sense of balance and control in daily life.

I’m a parent, guardian, or caregiver. How can therapy benefit me?

Therapy provides parents and caregivers with a confidential, supportive space to reflect on their own emotions, stress, and relationships. It can help manage the pressures of caregiving, parenting challenges, past experiences, and life transitions that impact family functioning.

Many parents seek therapy to strengthen coping skills, improve communication, increase patience, and better understand patterns that affect their responses to their children. With guidance and support, therapy helps caregivers develop healthier ways to regulate emotions, problem-solve, and make thoughtful decisions, leading to improved well-being, stronger family relationships, and greater balance in daily life.

What can I expect from therapy?

Everyone seeks therapy for different reasons, and each therapy experience is individualized to that person’s unique circumstances and goals.

During the initial intake process, clients and therapists work together to explore concerns, strengths, and hopes for therapy. In addition to traditional talk therapy, a therapist may also include the use of art activities, play-based interventions, games, storytelling, and workbooks to express thoughts and feelings in different ways.

Sessions are designed to feel safe, engaging, and supportive while building emotional awareness, coping skills, and problem-solving abilities. Therapy may be short-term or long-term and typically occurs on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Over time, day-to-day experiences, emotions, triggers, and relationships will be explored, while practicing new skills learned to support growth and positive change.

Caregiver involvement is an important part of the initial intake and therapeutic process for children. Therapists provide parental guidance, education, and strategies to support skill-building at home.

What are the benefits of occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy helps individuals build the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday life. It supports people who may be struggling with sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor skills, attention, organization, or daily routines due to developmental differences, injury, illness, or mental health challenges.

Through individualized, goal-focused activities, occupational therapy helps improve independence, confidence, and functioning at home, school, work, and in the community. By strengthening practical skills and adapting environments or routines, occupational therapy empowers individuals to engage in meaningful activities with greater ease and success.

What can I expect from an occupational therapy session?

In sessions, a person can expect a mix of hands-on activities that are fun, structured, and goal-oriented. These may include movement-based activities (like swinging or obstacle courses), fine motor tasks, self-care practice, calming strategies, and activities that support attention, emotional regulation, and coordination.

Sessions are individualized and designed to feel supportive and engaging, helping each person feel more comfortable in their body, better able to focus, and more confident participating at home, school, work, and in the community.

A brighter path, starting where you are.
