Our Services
Shineforth offers more than a dozen partnerships, programs and services, including foster care and adoption, residential treatment for youth, specialized education for K-12, and other community-based resources.
Child & Family Healing Center
Shineforth’s residential program supports youth ages 11-17 as they navigate complex trauma, acute behavioral and emotional challenges, and neurological differences. Children and teens live on our historic Richmond campus for 6-18 months and participate in both group therapy and individual treatment plans that are tailored to their unique experiences.

Charterhouse School
Charterhouse School provides specialized therapeutic education in Richmond and Edinburg for students who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges, autism or other neurological differences. Small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and student support coaches help elementary, middle, and high-school students thrive.

Foster Care Program
Shineforth provides treatment foster care for children and teens who are working to overcome trauma or abuse, or who are struggling with behavioral or medical challenges. Our foster care teams statewide identify supportive foster families, provide extensive training and post-placement services, and walk side-by-side with families throughout the process.
