2026 Outpatient Self-Pay Rates

Therapy Intake

Includes therapy intake appointment with LCSW/LPC/LCP for individuals and families:

• $190 (one-time fee)

Therapy Sessions

Includes therapy sessions with LCSW/LPC/LCP for individuals and families:

• $170 (per 60-minute session)
• $125 (per 45-minute session)
• $85 (per 30-minute session)

Cancellations & Rescheduling

LightWorks’ policy requires at least 24-hours’ notice for appointment cancellations and rescheduling, regardless of the reason. Failure to cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance will result in fees assessed to the client. Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments by contacting the office through the patient portal. Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice will not be charged. 

• $65 late cancellation fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice  
• $125 no-show fee for missed appointments / no-shows  

* Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client and are not billable to insurance companies. 

Credit Card Requirement

LightWorks requires clients to provide a credit card to be kept on file. Having a credit card on file helps us process fees promptly, without interrupting your appointment time or delaying sessions due to outstanding balances. LightWorks will always provide documentation of charges, and you may update your payment method at any time. Our goal is to make the financial side of services as simple and predictable as possible—so you can focus on what matters most: your well-being. 

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical or mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services when you schedule an appointment or upon request. If you schedule a service at least 3 business days in advance, you can request a written estimate of the expected charges. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or to request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact our office.
